I wonder what is the basis for the following statement in the page: പദോല്പത്തി: (പഴയ മലയാളം), <(സംസ്കൃതം) അരി ? Is this Skt? I know Bh.Krishnamurthi says arici is from Skt vrihi (skt). But it is controversial. --C.R.Selvakumar^(talk) 00:48, 5 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 2010 (UTC)
